Before: Setting the Stage
Velusina Design and Construction Inc. reached out to us with an urgent request. As the general contractor responsible for the tenant improvement, they needed custom cabinetry, shiplap installation, a butcher block countertop, and a custom feature wall installed before the opening day of the new BeaverTails location. The timeline was tight, and the build needed to be precise to accommodate specific equipment, including an ice cream machine and a toppings station.
In-Progress: Crafting with Precision
Understanding the critical nature of the project, we scheduled the work promptly and mobilized our team. Our skilled craftsmen set to work, meticulously following the specifications to ensure every piece fit perfectly. The shiplap installation and butcher block countertop were designed to not only be functional but also to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the store, creating a welcoming environment for future customers. The custom feature wall was crafted to add a unique touch, aligning with the BeaverTails brand.
Midway through the project, a change in plans brought new challenges. The equipment specifications were altered, necessitating adjustments to our build. Our team swiftly adapted to these changes, demonstrating our flexibility and commitment to meeting client needs without compromising on quality.
After: Ready for Opening Day
Thanks to our dedicated team’s hard work and adaptability, we completed the build and installation on schedule. The modified cabinetry, shiplap, butcher block countertop, and custom feature wall were installed perfectly, ready to welcome the grand opening. Today, hundreds of people enjoy the classic Canadian treat at BeaverTails while strolling along the vibrant 17th Avenue, all made possible by the seamless collaboration between Velusina Design and Construction Inc. and Calgary Custom Concepts.
